Once someone buys your gift card, Hakema collects the payment. You get the payments now while your customers can use the gift cards later. After deducting a service charge*, the rest of the money will be transferred to you.
Our normal fee is 5% of the total value of the gift cards sold, which includes our commission (2%) and the payment processor fee (3%). There are no other fees for using the gift cards.
Note: During this Corona (COVID-19) crisis, we are waiving off our commission: we charge you only the 3% which we need to pay to our payment service provider.
